Harley Quinn is a popular DC character originating within the Batman mythos. She first appeared in The Batman Adventures #12 in September 1993. Initially a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, Dr. Harleen Quinzel became obsessed with and fell in love with the Joker.

She adopted the persona of Harley Quinn, a jester-themed accomplice to the Joker's crimes. Her background is marked by a complex dynamic with the Joker, characterized by manipulation and abuse. Often depicted with a Brooklyn accent and a playful, albeit dangerous, demeanor.
